The cabin is quite private and enjoys lovely gardens and grounds and plenty of outdoor seating. Easy walking to everything downtown Bar Harbor has to offer! It's also a quick walk to the Shore Path, a great spot for your morning stroll! Perfect for two couples or your small family (sleeps 4), Gay's Garden Cabin is a great locale for your Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation! The delightfully "eccentric" cabin has sort of an artistic feel with polished cement flooring and natural wood paneled walls. There is a main floor and second floor loft space. The main floor features a living room area with spectacular a-frame windows, dining area, bathroom, galley kitchen, and queen bedroom with sink and toilet facilities. The second floor loft is a king bedroom. The queen bedroom on the first floor is a little quirky with a large sink/vanity in it (great counter space!), as well as a toilet (shielded by a privacy curtain). The smallish bathroom on the main floor features a tub/shower combo and toilet/sink combo (eco-friendly, space saving). Amenities include cable TVs (in loft bedroom and living room), A/C, BluRay, WIFI, gas BBQ, linens, parking for 2 cars, microwave, coffeemaker, firepit and outdoor furnishings. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abbey Museum, enjoy a whale watch boat ride, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis.
